No — toilet training is not required. We provide supportive, gentle toilet training as part of the Explorers program. Our experienced staff work with each family on a personalized approach. Diapers and wipes are included in your tuition at no extra cost.
Our Explorers program maintains a 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio, which exceeds NYC DOH requirements. This ensures individualized attention, faster development, and a safe, nurturing environment for every toddler.
A typical day includes morning circle time, two enrichment classes (yoga, music, art, cooking, etc.), free play, organic meals, nap time, outdoor play, and afternoon activities. Absolutely! We offer rolling admissions year-round. Your child can start any Monday. Our year-round curriculum means there's no need to wait for a new semester or school year to begin. The sooner you enroll, the sooner your child begins their journey.
The Explorers program includes 18 weekly enrichment classes at no extra cost: karate, soccer, yoga, dance, cooking, art, robotics, music, Spanish, Mandarin, Montessori work, sensory play, gardening, etiquette, science exploration, and more. All classes are taught by trained instructors.
Our curriculum builds foundational skills in language, math, social-emotional learning, and motor development. Children transition seamlessly into our Thinkers program (ages 3–4) with strong pre-literacy, counting, and social skills already in place. We also support toilet training and independence skills that prepare your child for the next stage.
