Q: When should I apply for enrollment at Golden Minds Prep?

As soon as possible. We have rolling admissions year-round. Many families apply 3–6 months in advance for September enrollment, but we also have immediate openings. The earlier you apply, the more likely you are to secure your preferred schedule.

Q: Can we do a trial day before enrolling?

Yes. We offer a 2-hour trial visit ($50, credited toward tuition if you enroll). This lets your child experience our classroom and meet their future teachers. Trial visits are scheduled on weekday mornings and must be booked in advance.

Q: What is the withdrawal and refund policy?

30 days written notice is required for withdrawal. Security deposit is refundable upon 30-day notice and good standing. Tuition is non-refundable once the month begins. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Q: Can I change my child's schedule after enrolling?

Yes, with 30 days notice and based on availability. Schedule changes can be made quarterly with tuition adjustments applied. We try to accommodate changes whenever possible.

When should I apply for enrollment?

Is there a waitlist?

We maintain a waitlist when programs reach capacity. Waitlist families are contacted in order as spots become available, typically within 2–8 weeks. Priority is given to siblings of current students and early applicants. Waitlist position updates are sent monthly.

Golden Minds Prep welcomes children with diverse learning needs. We work with families to create individualized support plans and collaborate with outside therapists. Our staff is trained in inclusion practices. Please discuss your child's specific needs during your tour so we can ensure we're the right fit.

What happens if my child is sick?

Children must stay home with fever, vomiting, diarrhea, contagious illness, or doctor-ordered isolation. We follow NYC DOH guidelines. No tuition credit for sick days, but we provide make-up days for extended illnesses (5+ consecutive days with doctor's note). Medication can be administered by our certified staff.
